Baxter Park Inn

I was pleasantly surprised about this hotel it was a great overnight for myself and my daughter I do have one suggestion though given it is the time of year and it's starting to get colder the bed could stand to have a little bit warmer blanket on it but other than that we were very happy with our stay and we'll definitely be coming back

I don’t go there for the breakfast but the coffee was good. Staff and owner take pride in their old hotel. In a world of chain hotels, it is nice to see a place like this still able to maintain this homey hotel.

Clean, plenty of ice. Comfortable beds, hot shower, wonderful.

We only stayed one night. We hiked two days in Baxter State Park, so we were late to check-in and very early to check out the next day. The hotel was a good place for the family to rest. The staff was excellent and very helpful with several of our requests or needs. One example was the fact we would be checking out before the morning breakfast offered opened. So the night before, they opened the breakfast room to allow us to get breakfast items that we could heat in our room's microwave before heading back to Baxter for a second day of hiking.

Nice and spacious room, as close as one can get to Baxter State Park and Katahdin NM.
